We are a rich media platform that services film festivals worldwide and allows filmmakers to “socialize” and “gamify” their content by creating a virtual, 3D film festival experience.

What does this mean for filmmakers?

Our platform allows  filmmakers to distribute content in a virtual environment through our partner film festivals. Filmmakers can utilize tools such as street teams, creating custom live events, and creating a reward system for fans to socialize  your content and get it seen even more.

How much does it cost to submit a film for the Virtual Monaco Charity Film Festival?

It costs $25 for feature film submissions and $15 for all other submissions.

What does this mean for festivals?

independentfilms.com allows film festivals to take their events into a new demographic where their festival may have not otherwise reached. It allows a higher volume of not only submissions, but screenings to take place simultaneously with the live festival and a virtual integration that is rare.

What does the virtual festival look like?

Right now we are working on getting content live to demonstrate the virtual world. Visually the virtual festival isn’t completely different from other virtual worlds, but the user interface and interactivity has a deep set of features you won’t find anywhere else.

What platforms is the virtual festival accessible on?

The virtual festival is platform agnostic, meaning it can be accessed on virtually all platforms including PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android.

Will the films only be aired during the dates listed?

The films will only be live during the listed dates and times, however certain Video On Demand (VOD) content will be accessible for a limited time after the premieres.
